Testimonials: “Precious Williams visited the Lichfield Festival in October 2010 to talk about her new book....and what a treat it was. Precious is an amusing, entertaining and deeply moving speaker who delighted her audience for over an hour with the extraordinary story of her life. She is a confident and charming speaker, and the Q&A session that followed the talk was just as enjoyable as the talk itself, with plenty of audience interaction and some lovely comments. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive and I fed this back to the publisher directly after the festival. Would I recommended her to other festivals? Without hesitation - and I look forward to welcoming her back to Lichfield at some point in the future.” - Fiona Stuart, director Lichfield Festival
“We were truly very lucky that Precious Williams agreed to be a guest speaker at the Storymoja Hay Festival 2012 in Nairobi, Kenya. Precious was incredibly generous about sharing her experiences and skills, both in writing workshops, but also as part of various panels. We have received great feedback from all who attended her sessions. She has that rare gift of being someone who inspires, yet you can relate to. The festival was much richer with her voice and her story, and we hope that she will come back to the Storymoja Hay Festival again." Aleya Kassam, Special Projects, Storymoja Hay Festival
"Precious gave a powerful and moving lecture that engaged all present, new social work students, lecturers, practitioners and service users. She addressed a difficult and complex issue from a personal point of view in a way that both challenged and provoked thought. We would definitely hope to have a return visit in the future.” -Pauline Franklin, Senior Lecturer, Canterbury Christchurch University
